We sit at the intersection of research and product: we run evaluations, fine-tune models, design retrieval pipelines, and then put those systems into the hands of users. That full-stack view makes the work more interesting and the feedback loop faster.
How we work
We are remote-first by design, with team members across the United States, Canada, and South Korea. We run asynchronously — meetings are kept to a minimum and long-form written communication is the norm. We value pragmatic engineering: the right solution over the clever one, and working software over process.
What we look for
- Strong fundamentals in machine learning, large language models, embeddings and retrieval, or full-stack and infrastructure engineering.
- A bias for shipping — you close loops, follow through, and get things across the finish line.
- Genuine curiosity about AI: you read papers, run experiments, and form your own opinions.
- Care for the people who will use what you build — empathy drives better products.
Where we always need great people
We don't post fixed listings — we hire when we find the right person. These are the areas where we are always interested in talking.
ML / LLM Research
Pre-training, fine-tuning, RLHF, and evaluation. We build and assess large language models — and we want people who can push the frontier while staying grounded in what makes models useful in production.
Applied Retrieval / RAG
Embedding models, rerankers, vector search, and hybrid retrieval pipelines. If you have opinions on how to make retrieval-augmented generation actually work at scale, we want to hear them.
Product Engineering
Full-stack and backend engineers who can take an AI capability and turn it into a product experience. We value engineers who think about users as much as they think about systems.
