With so many breakthroughs hitting the headlines, we're here to cut through the noise and deliver solutions that actually work. We keep our eyes on what matters: finding practical ways to help people using AI, then building products that people genuinely want to use.

Our expertise

Our team brings together a deep bench of skills — large language models, embeddings and rerankers, scalable inference, and retrieval strategies — and turns them into concrete, problem-solving applications. We don't build AI for AI's sake. Instead, we focus on bridging the gap between innovative research and tangible results, making advanced AI accessible and meaningful.

We take a practical, no-nonsense approach to development. Yes, we explore the cutting edge — from LLM evaluation pipelines to novel RAG strategies — but our real litmus test is impact. The best AI isn't the one locked in a lab; it's the one that improves processes, drives growth, and connects people in ways that matter.

Our roots

Aiocia grew out of the instruct.kr community, where open-source LLM enthusiasts gathered to share insights and push the boundaries of what's possible. In that creative environment, our founders developed LogicKor — a benchmark that quickly earned widespread respect as a standard for evaluating LLM performance in South Korea. Energized by that achievement, we set out to build tangible, human-centered products that people want to use every day.

Meet our founders

• maywell — an experienced and well-known LLM researcher who contributed to teams at Yanolja and Sionic AI, co-founded instruct.kr, and created LogicKor. At Aiocia, maywell focuses on delivering practical, impactful AI solutions rather than purely theoretical concepts.
• Sigrid Jin — a versatile engineer who took a winding path from mathematics to blockchain data engineering at DSRV and machine learning at Sionic AI. Sigrid combines deep technical know-how in Kubernetes, cloud-native technology, and Python with a forward-looking vision for product building.
• Cilio — with a background managing content-driven projects as a product director and a keen eye for media trends, Cilio shapes LLM-enabled services that engage and inspire, guiding product development toward experiences that resonate with audiences everywhere.

We embraced a remote, borderless work culture from day one. Our team members work across the United States, Canada, and South Korea, and are free to work from wherever suits them best. We believe great AI is built by people who care about the people who use it.
